Bracalente Manufacturing Group is proud to announce the addition of the Makino MMC2 System to our facility. The Makino MMC2 system ties individual horizontal machining centers to an automated pallet system to enhance productivity. Traditional machines have 2 pallets for loading parts while the MMC2 has the capacity to hold 60 pallets in the magazine and 10 additional pallets in the machines. The main advantage of this addition is the ability to capture lights out production (LOOP). LOOP is the time when the system runs unattended while no operators are in the plant. The addition of the Makino MMC2 system has the potential to generate an extra 8,000 – 12,000 machining hours per year.
