“My grandfather was a generous man. He helped people by giving of his time and resources; he never asked for anything in return. The Foundation allows us to honor him and continue his legacy of giving.”

Ron Bracalente, President & CEO

In 2015, the Silvene Bracalente Memorial Foundation was created as an extension of the spirit and legacy of Bracalente’s founder, Silvene. He was a visionary, a risk-taker and a person who loved people. He gave freely to those in need and his community. He never sought recognition, he only wanted others to succeed.

The SBMF offers guidance, support and training as well as financial scholarship to students in the manufacturing industry. Partnering with local trade schools, SBMF offers shadowing opportunities, mentorships and scholarships to students looking for a career in manufacturing.

In honor of Silvene Bracalente’s love of sport, he was a prolific marksman and avid sportsman, SBMF holds The Silvene Bracalente Memorial Foundation Shoot and Fundraiser to raise money and awareness of manufacturing and the importance of continuing trade education.

Since our founding, SBMF has raised more than $345,000.
